Lovely cottage with lots of character and in great condition. Nice and clean and child friendly from the moment we arrived meant it was incredibly easy to settle in. Perfect for young families and definitely gets our recommendation.

Lovely area - plenty of walks. Owners very friendly. Lovely welcome pack containing eggs, bread, butter, biscuits, coffee, tea etc. This was our second visit.

A lovely, well equipped and comfortable cottage, with friendly and helpful owners, set in beautiful countryside. Even the weather was good. Could not ask for anything more.

This was our first experience of a Hoseasons cottage and we were very impressed. The accommodation wasn't cheap, but we certainly felt the price tag matched the standard of the accommodation, which was very high.
I would struggle to suggest anything which could significantly improve Darwin Cottage. I've only ticked we are unlikely to return to the cottage below, as there are so many others areas of the country to explore.

The cottage is surronded by a lot of countryside, which is great. Eastbourne, Beachy Head, etc... are great places to visit. A great place to go and explore at your own leisure.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful area, with friendly owners. The cottage was clean, lovely furnished, looked homely and everything was available. Lots to be done in the area.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Darwin Cottage. There were lots of walks on the South Downs, a good pub almost next door and a very modern but cosy cottage, with every convenience.

The deciding factor between this property and another was the obvious enthusiasm of previous visitors - we found this fully justified. The owners have incorporated many ideas derived from their own experience of renting cottages and made this property one of the best we have visited!

It's a beautiful spot and a wonderful location if you want to explore Eastbourne, Brighton adn Lewes or the South Downs area in general. Darwin cottage is delightful, very well appointed and tastefully decorated. I would certainly stay there again.
